Computers and tablets aren’t just for younger people any more. Older people are just as likely to have an iPad, laptop, or a desktop. They’re shopping online, chatting with friends, using social media, and browsing the Web just as much as anyone else. Modern kit is so easy to use that computer skills aren’t usually a necessity. Last year, iPads and Android tablets were among the top gifts for parents: not flowers, chocolates, or ornaments.
But when things go wrong, most people turn to friends or family for help. Once you’ve encouraged your mom, dad, or grandparent to join the Internet age, it’s as if you’ve signed an unspoken agreement to provide unlimited technical support. Even if you know what you’re doing, it can become wearisome after a while. And if you’re based many miles away, it can be hard trying to diagnose and fix problems over the phone, or having to make visits down to Bonita Springs or Naples to do computer repairs.

We offer three types of service, depending on your needs:
- As required: just call us, and we’ll do whatever is needed. We offer hardware and software repairs, or can advise on replacements. We can make home visits, or your relative can bring the computer to us, then we’ll bill you for the work.
- Service contracts: with a regular contract, we can remotely monitor your relative’s computer and deal with viruses, maintenance and upgrades. We can take care of most problems as soon as they’re detected. We’ll send you a regular report telling you what we’ve done.
- Gift cards: give your relative a gift card, and they can relax knowing the cost of their repair is already covered.
So leave it to us to deal with the computer problems. That’s one less thing you have to worry about.
